Wanted:
your views on transport grants and door-to-door transport services

The Greater Manchester Integrated Transport Authority (GMITA) is currently carrying out an internal review of the grants which they provide to individuals and organisations, and also the provision of flexible transport within Greater Manchester. This includes services such as Ring and Ride, Local Link and community transport schemes.

The Transport Resource Unit has been offered an opportunity to contribute to the review and would urgently like to hear from individuals, groups or organisations with experience of applying for grants or using door-to-door transport services. Comments can be made in confidence and will be used to build up an evidence base for the review. More detailed consultation may take place at a later date, depending on the findings of this internal review.

We would welcome comments by e-mail, post or by telephone: please contactmelanie.jeffs@gmcvo.org.uk or 0161 277 1014.
