The primary purpose of our website is to assist our Task Group and our readers understand transport in the Worsley, Boothstown and Ellenbrook areas. However, we know the "Manchester Congestion Charge" debate will dominate thinking about public transport in the summer and autumn months of 2008. Hence this INDEX will provide a family of signposts to help you understand the debate that is going on. It is not our purpose to take sides in the debate, we are providing links to significant public information. Already published in our "How Transport Works" section are a number of items about the Transport Innovation Fund (TIF) bid now known by the colloquial name of "Manchester Congestion Charge".
