Welcome to the Enquiries Desk of our Document Library

Here you can find guidance to documents and publications useful to a further understanding of how tranport works. Whilst we may hold documents on our own web pages, providing links to external sites will be our normal practice, where we can be reasonably sure that the pages will be maintained by the external host. If you find a link is broken or goes to the wrong site then please tell us.

We want all the pages of our site to be accessible to everyone, whether you are viewing this on a pda device, laptop, or computer with broadband or dial-up connection. Eventually we will be putting the size of the documents behind the links we give you, so that you will be aware how long it may take to download.

Document Library Shelves

Where we think it may be helpful to our own work, where we can, we will give documents their own set of shelves. Where documents or families of documents are complex and long we will also do this to help you go to the parts which we think are the most relevant. For instance the first set of shelves is for the Local Transport Plan for Greater Manchester: the link takes you to our Document LIbrary Shelves that contain the report broken out into a set of books.
